Print Specifications
All prints are archival pigment prints on the finest of quality 100 % German Cotton Rag paper. All fine art prints are produced by The Copper House Gallery, Ireland’s longest established photographic and fine art printing studio. They are appointed by Hahnemühle as a “Certified Studio” for digital fine art printing in Ireland. This worldwide accreditation is granted only to print studios that meet the highest quality standards in producing archival pigment prints. This accreditation guarantees that the original painting is being reproduced by using a process which ensures the highest colour accuracy of any fine art reproduction process available today.
All prints have a 1 inch border. Note that all sizes quoted are based on image size (for example a 20 X 20 inch print will cover a wall area of 22 X 22 inches when border is included)
Note that frame in picture is for illustrative purposes only and is not included.
Framing
There are two ways you can frame your paper prints. You can frame them at the edge of the paper with the white border showing (which is the traditional method) or you can cut off the white border and frame edge to edge so the frame itself is right up against the print area which can look amazing. Fine art prints should be framed behind glass with a spacer so that there is a gap between the glass and the paper. This is the way prints are framed professionally to ensure they are preserved properly as they need air around them.
